Terms & Conditions

General Information

This competition gives you the chance to win an exclusive test drive of an electric VinFast vehicle, including a road trip between Germany and France and an all-inclusive experience for two people. The winner will receive two hotel nights, meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and a 3–4 hour driving experience with a loaned VinFast EV.

The purpose of the campaign is to showcase real-life interactions with the VF 8 Plus car and provide participants with an authentic impression of what it feels like to go on a road trip with this vehicle. The campaign is designed both for the participants who drive different segments of the VinFast Tour, and for VinFast followers on social media who can follow the journey via Instagram, Facebook, and partly LinkedIn.

Campaign Period

The competition runs from September 1, 2025 to September 15, 2025 and is open to individuals aged 25 years or older. To participate, you must complete the application form on the campaign page and provide a motivation statement explaining why you should be selected.

Winner Selection

The winner will be selected by a VinFast internal jury based on the motivation statement. The prize consists of an all-inclusive road trip of approximately 3–4 hours for two people. The winner will be notified by email or phone after the campaign ends and must respond within 2 days. If the winner does not respond within this timeframe, VinFast reserves the right to select a new winner.

Travel Details

The winner and a guest will have the opportunity to participate in a road trip within or between Germany and France on one day between September 25–30, 2025, including:

  • • Two nights at a top-rated hotel (one night before the road trip and one night at the final destination after the trip).
  • • Accommodation in a double room for the winner and their guest at both hotels.
  • • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (at restaurants selected by VinFast).
  • • A 3–4 hour drive in a loaned VinFast electric car.

The trip will be organized by VinFast, and a production team will film and photograph the entire journey, both inside and outside the car, including with a follow car for external shots. The winner must accept being filmed and photographed for VinFast’s social media posts.

Tolls and Charging Costs

Any expenses related to tolls and EV charging during the road trip will be reimbursed by VinFast upon presentation of valid receipts. For practical reasons, participants are advised to bring a valid credit card to cover such expenses during the trip before reimbursement.

Prize Value

The total value of the prize is approximately 1,000 EUR, including two nights in a double hotel room, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), EV charging, and use of the vehicle. The winner may bring one guest.

Not included: any personal expenses, such as travel to and from the starting location of the road trip, which are the responsibility of the winner.

Taxes

The prize may be subject to taxation depending on the winner’s tax situation and applicable local tax laws. Winners are advised to consult a tax professional to ensure compliance with any obligations in their country of residence. VinFast is not responsible for any taxes or fees arising from the prize.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, participants must:

  • • Be at least 25 years old.
  • • Hold a valid EU driving license.
  • • Complete the official application form and accept these Terms & Conditions.
  • • Be available for the specific travel dates offered by VinFast.

Liability

VinFast is not responsible for any damages, losses, or personal injuries that may occur during the trip or while using the loaned vehicle. Participants are responsible for complying with all traffic laws and regulations while driving. VinFast recommends that participants ensure they have their own insurance coverage.

The driver(s) will be required to sign a test drive agreement under the same conditions as a standard test drive. VinFast also reserves the right to cancel or modify the trip if circumstances require, without being financially liable for any resulting losses.

After the competition concludes, all personal information provided by participants will be deleted. No data will be shared with third parties for advertising or other purposes.

Privacy

The personal data collected in connection with this competition will only be used for administering the competition and contacting the winner. All data will be handled in accordance with VinFast’s Privacy Policy. Participants may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting VinFast.

Photo & Video Material

During the road trip, a VinFast production team will document the experience through photography and video. Participants agree that all material may be used by VinFast for marketing purposes, including publication on social media, websites, and other communication channels.

The purpose of this documentation is to inspire and showcase authentic usage of the vehicle and the winner’s experience, including a Vietnamese lunch. Filming will take place between 9:00–17:00 on the day of the road trip. The team will not be present at the hotel or during the evening dinner.

Participants will not receive compensation for the use of this material. They will be required to sign a consent form for image and video usage.

Amendments to Terms

VinFast reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time if circumstances require. Any changes will be announced via updates on the campaign page and, where relevant, directly to the winner.

Other

The campaign is not sponsored or administered by any third party. Any taxes arising from the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which the participant has their habitual residence.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be submitted to the competent commercial court of Paris, provided that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence if such right is granted under applicable consumer protection legislation.
